2022 The 5th American Youth Speech Contest

The purpose of this event is to train our young generation in leadership and public speaking and to inspire our youth to be more active with the politics within our communities. Participant must be between the ages of 10 and 26, and currently attending any Middle School, High School or College, or must be a graduate from College or High School. Each speaker will have 3 minutes.
Junior High Topic: Should Asian American History Be Added to School Textbooks?
High school/college topic: Gun Right vs Gun Control: What Is the Right Balance?
Every participating contestant will be given community hours & a certificate of participation
regardless of what their place is in the contest. Cash prizes of $300, $200, $100 and certificate for winners of each topic group.

宗旨：鼓励亚裔青少年关心社区，深度思考热点话题，锻炼公共演讲，培养领导能力。欢迎初中生，高中生和大学生报名参加。
欢迎热心人士赞助此次活动。主办方AAAA 是联邦注册501c3组织，捐款可以抵税。
形式：每人演讲3分钟
奖状：提供给每一位参赛者义工证书和服务时间。

奖金：两组各有一，二，三等奖，颁发奖金$300, $200, $100及获奖证书。
评分标准：演讲内容40%,演讲技巧与表达30%,演讲整体努力与效果30%. 裁判由多位地方政府市议员及教育委员会民选官员组成。
